June 17th 1900




~June 17th. Elder E.G.Cheney and myself were appointed to labor together . Visited the Saints on Pocatalogo.There we were called to a sick girl that had been given up by her parents. Pres. W.H. Swart came down from Brooklyn, him and about 12 Elders came out on Pocatalago held some meetings and received some instructions. Changed our companions. Elder George Henrie and myself were assigned to travel among the saints then made our way back to Charlestown. Pres. Joseph Hubbard, Irwin, Critten, and myself walked about 5 miles, held a meeting at night. After meeting we walked back to Charlestown took a small boat, crossed the Kanawha River.~
