~July 24th 1900. Lincoln Co. Jenks. Weather pleasant. Miss Adkison gave us some candy and we started for Mr. Johnsons a distance of 18 miles. Gave a widow a book. Met Bro. Angles talked with them on the law of tithing. The family that they were staying with would not let any Mormons in the house. Visited with Mr. Johnson they were strong investigators. All well.~
