~July 8th 1900. The weather pleasant started for Hunnington*, walked down the railroad came to Mr. Edwards. They invited us in and treated us very kindly, stayed all night.~
*Huntington WV is the county seat for Cabell Co.,located along the Ohio River,created as a Rail Road town for the C&O R.R.Population in 1900 was 11,923
